Sodium Bicarbonate (IUPAC name: sodium hydrogen carbonate), commonly known as baking soda and the best natural buffer (means a substance that stabilizes a solution’s ph level at around 8, 1). This white molecule is crystalline, odorless and a bit salty but often appears as a fine powder.
